Our Mission
It is the mission of Stronghold Wrestling Club to teach the art of wrestling in both national and international styles while mentoring the youth under our tutelage. Our mission exists in the knowledge that we will encourage and promote personal growth spiritually, physically, and emotionally through positive reinforcement of activities, which constantly challenge the spirit, body, and mind.
The sport of wrestling creates a unique platform for athletes to experience the personal challenges associated with one on one competition. The wrestlers encounter and grapple with those time-tested traits that form the character of a man. We believe it is essential to teach these principles as the foundation of success in the arena of competition thereby empowering our young wrestlers for the rest of their lives.

ALABAMA’S PREMIERE WRESTLING FACILITY
Located on Highway 31 in Vestavia Hills, the Birmingham Wrestling Complex is easily accessible to athletes all over the Birmingham-metro area. Our newly renovated facility boasts a large training area, study rooms, viewing area, recreational facility, on-site gear shop, full locker rooms, and more! Our full sound system, pull-down screen, and projector can be used for showing technique during camps and practices or for movie nights and birthday parties.
